G7c Firmware 3.505 2G/3G Connectivity
In areas with 2G/3G networks only, G7c devices with firmware version 3.505 may be unable to connect to the network. This notification explains the issue and how you can get assistance.
August 14, 2026
We've identified an issue with G7c firmware 3.505 that's causing a small number of devices to lose their connection to the 2G/3G network, which means device alerts and events may not reach Blackline Live. This issue is limited to devices in remote locations where 4G/LTE networks aren't yet available.
Affected G7c devices still work as local gas detectors but will not connect to a cellular network until the issue is corrected. If your devices are in a 2G/3G-only area and not connected, please contact our Technical Support team, who will provide assistance to restore connectivity.
We are also working on a broader resolution for this issue and will update you on our progress within 5 business days or sooner.
We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may cause. Your team's safety is our highest priority.
