Getting Started with your G8 Demo Kit

G8 Sales Demo Organization

After you receive your G8 Demo Kit, you'll need to accept the email invitation to be part of the Sales Demo organization in Blackline Live. This organization has been set up to help you collaborate with other G8 sales demo device users for learning and testing purposes.

RSMs with Customer Care roles (or Customer care access) can ignore steps 1 and 2 and skip to step 3.

  1. Find the email that includes an invitation for your user information to be set up with a Provider relationship with the G8 Sales Demo organization in Blackline Live.
  2. Accept the relationship.
    If you have any questions about the email, contact Kyleigh Birce. For more details about relationships in Blackline Live, take or retake Blackline Live courses in the LMS.
  3. Log into Blackline Live with your regular user credentials.
  4. From the Devices page > Organization drop-down menu, select G8 Demo
    The exact naming of the organization depends on your Blackline Live region (that is, Europe or North America).

You are now logged into the G8 Sales Demo organization. You should see other Sales demo devices displayed on the Map.
