Wearing G8 Using Klick Fast Studs
Pumped and diffusion cartridges require different Klick Fast Stud kits. Order and use the appropriate kit depending on your cartridge type.
To wear G8 using Klick Fast Studs, you need the following:
Klick Fast Stud Kit (ACC-KF-G8-Q-STUD-X):
Stud
Adapter
Screw
Phillips screwdriver
- Open the metal alligator clip at the back of G8.
- Use the Philips screwdriver to remove the screw fastening the metal clip to G8.
- Slide the metal clip upward to remove it.
- Align the Klick Fast adapter with the G8's clip retention ears.
- Slide the adapter down through the clip retention ears until it reaches the bottom.The hole in the adapter aligns with the screw threads on the back of the G8.
- Insert the stud into the adapter. Ensure the stud's groove faces upward.Note: You can install the stud into the adapter in four directions, as preferred. For best performance, Blackline Safety recommends installing the stud with its groove facing upward.
- Use the Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screw.This tightens the Klick Fast assembly to G8.
