Start-up Behavior and Functional Safety Checks
When powered on, cartridge-equipped devices perform a functional safety sequence to confirm that installed sensors are stable and that gas monitoring and alerting can begin safely.
This sequence includes a start-up self-test, a sensor stabilization period, and, in some configurations, an automatic zeroing prompt.
These start-up behaviors are part of the device’s functional safety design and cannot be disabled or bypassed. They ensure the cartridge is operating correctly before gas monitoring begins.
