Notification Behavior During Start-up, Calibration, and Warm-up

Notification suppression is automatically applied during transitional states where unstable gas readings may occur. These behaviors are part of the device’s functional safety design and help prevent false notifications.

Notification suppression is active during:

  • Start-up and warm-up:

Gas notifications are disabled while sensors stabilize. A countdown displays on screen until monitoring begins.

  • Calibration and zeroing:

Notifications are suspended throughout the procedure to prevent interference from calibration gas or zero baseline shifts.

  • Secondary modes (G7/G8 only):

Certain modes, such as Leak Check intentionally mute gas notifications to support specific high-risk workflows. Gas levels are still recorded but do not trigger visible or audible notifications.

Notification monitoring resumes automatically after suppression ends. If gas concentrations exceed preset thresholds, notifications display immediately.
