Shutdown Behavior During Active Gas Notifications or Faults
Shutting down the device does not clear gas notifications or fault conditions.
Latched states remain active in device memory and are re-evaluated at start-up. This ensures critical conditions cannot be bypassed by power cycling the device.
The cartridge does not prevent shutdown. The device can be powered off at any time.
When the device is shut down:
- Audible and visual indicators stop when the device powers off.
- No gas readings or notification outputs are available while the device is off.
- Latched notifications or faults are automatically re-evaluated when the device restarts. If the condition is still present, the notification reactivates.
