Changing Transmit Power Settings
Transmit power level affects the range of Location Beacon’s signals. Beacons are shipped in the lowest transmit power setting (Level 2), providing about 15 to 30 feet of coverage, which is appropriate for most installations.
- Press and hold the power/status button. The status light turns on and then off. Continue holding the button. The light starts blinking in sets of flashes that indicate the power level.
- Release the button during the desired set of flashes to change the power level. The status light repeats the selected power setting three times before it returns to normal operating mode.
