Changing the PTT or RSM Volume
Steps to change the volume on PTT or RSM calls for G8.
You can change the volume of incoming PTT messages from either the PTT screen or the PTT options menu. Changing the PTT volume does not affect G8's notification sounds.
- From the Status screen:
- Press the left or right button to display the first Feature screen, then scroll to the PTT screen.
- Press the center button to display the Main menu, then select PTT options. Skip to step 3.
- Press the left or right button to display the first Feature screen, then scroll to the PTT screen.
- From the PTT screen, press and hold the center button.
The PTT options menu displays.
- Use the right button to scroll to Change Volume, then press the center button to select it.
- Press the left and right buttons to adjust the volume level, then press the center button to save the new setting.
