Feature Screens
An description of the G8 screens that provide special functionality related to features including PTT, TagAssign, and Modes.
G8 includes special feature screens to simplify access to key functions like Push-to-Talk (PTT), TagAssign, and Modes.
Each of these screens groups related features, reducing the need to dive through multiple menus, and displays the following:
- A large central icon representing the main function
- A white pill label showing the quick action mapped to the center button
- A blue background (design may vary by screen)
- Side + / Side – indicators when additional controls are available
- A green ring around the icon if the feature is currently active
Note: Button functions may change depending on the current screen. For example, Side + / Side - may adjust channels or move between pages.
