Getting Started with your G8 Demo Kit

Alerts and SOC Monitoring

As a part of the G8 Sales Demo organization, your two G8 demo devices are monitored by the Blackline Safety Operations Center. The Operations Center will use the G8 Demo/Evaluation protocol during the alert process.
  1. Power on G8 by pressing and holding the center button.
  2. Check that the SureSafe light turns on and is a solid green.
  3. Set up an alert situation to test that the device is set up correctly.
  4. Practice pulling the SOS latch to get familiar with the open channel voice conversation process.
