Steps to anchor the G8 multi-unit charger to a horizontal surface.
- Using the measurements
provided in the following diagram, use a pencil to mark the holes for the screws.
Figure 1. 5-unit multi-unit charger screw hole dimensions for horizontal mount Figure 2. 25-unit multi-unit charger screw hole dimensions for horizontal mount - Use a drill bit and screws appropriate for the surface to drill into the surface, using your markings as guides. The hole should be shallower than the screw length.
- Use a screwdriver to fit the screws that go underneath the charger into the holes you drilled.CAUTION: Do not insert the screws that go through the tabs at the back of the panel yet.
- When the screws for the keyholes on the bottom of the charger are installed, lift the multi-unit charger and lower it onto the screws. Slide the charger forward to lock the charger in place.
- Use a screwdriver to fit the screws that go through the tabs on the back of the charger in place.
- Plug the 24V AC/DC adapter into
the 24V DC input port on the back of the multi-unit charger, then attach the
supplied AC power cord to the 24V AC/DC adapter.
- Plug the AC power cord into an AC outlet with a voltage within the AC input range of the adapter.
- To remove the multi-unit charger from the wall bracket, remove the screws from the back tabs, then slide the multi-unit charger back and lift it up to unhook it from the screws.
