G7 is compatible with Cartridge F1 and Cartridge F2. Cartridge F1 is the previous generation of Blackline Safety's device cartridge. Cartridge F2 is the current generation of device cartridge that was released on May 1, 2025.

Cartridge F1 and Cartridge F2 are both available in four cartridge types: standard (lone worker), single-gas, multi-gas diffusion, and multi-gas pump cartridges. A-CART is a version of the Pump Cartridge F2 and only operates in pump mode, regardless of configuration.

G7 can be configured with a Standard Cartridge, also known as a Lone Worker cartridge, without gas-detection capabilities. This cartridge does not support gas detection, calibration, or bump testing. It is used for personal safety monitoring features like SOS alerts and check-ins.
