Learn how G6 can automatically install downloaded firmware updates.

After a firmware update has been downloaded to the device, G6 will automatically install the update when you complete the following:

• Restart G6

• Remove G6 from G6 Dock

  Important:

  While docked, G6 has a continuous network connection. After a docked bump test or calibration, G6 automatically verifies if a new version of firmware has been downloaded onto the device. If so, G6 initiates the firmware install process after the device is removed from G6 Dock.

• Perform a manual bump test, manual calibration, or manual sensor zero
