Device Warranty

Blackline Safety Device Warranty

This article provides details about the warranty coverage for your Blackline Safety devices.

Your Blackline Safety device is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a defined period starting on the product ship date from Blackline Safety. Warranty periods are for 1, 2, 3, or 4 years and depend on the ownership model for the device. Extended warranties are also available. See the table below for device warranty periods:

Products under a lease agreement are covered for the lease term.

Warranty Coverage

The warranty covers product malfunctions in materials and workmanship, operating failures, sensor failures and problems, the LCD screen, speakers, microphone, and battery.

The warranty does not cover accidental damage from everyday use including the following:

  • Dropping the device, or other impact
  • Exposure to water
  • Exposure to fire
  • Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair
  • Loss or theft
  • Failure to maintain the device
