What are Sticky Gases?
List of sticky gases.
Sticky gases are a group of toxic gases that tend to sorb (absorb or adsorb) with surfaces, such as sampling tubing or the exterior of gas detection devices. Examples of sticky gases include:
Ammonia (NH3)
Chlorine (Cl2)
Hydrogen fluoride (HF)
Nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
Hydrochloric acid (HCl)
Hydrogen sulfide (H2S)
Hydrogen cyanide (HCN)
Chlorine dioxide (ClO2)
H2S component of quad-gas mixture
