Sensor Notification Priority
Gas notifications triggered by a sensor take priority over other device alerts.
If a sensor fails start-up or self-tests, the device enters a fault state and does not display any readings until the issue is resolved. Other working sensors that start normally show readings as expected.
Non-gas notifications (e.g., low battery, check-in, fall detection) may be suppressed or delayed while a gas notification is active.
Audible and visual indicators for gas notifications remain active until the condition clears or is acknowledged, depending on configuration, to ensure gas-related hazards are always the user’s primary focus.
On EXO 8, if multiple notifications are active, the banner displays cycles between them. does not support banner cycling, but gas notifications maintain audio and visual priority for both device types.
