Suppression Logic

Suppression logic delays notification activation. This helps prevent false notifications caused by brief or stable gas readings during start-up or sensor stabilization.

Suppression is applied automatically. The user cannot configure or disable it. If gas levels remain above allowable thresholds after suppression ends, the notification activates as normal.

Suppression is applied automatically in the following conditions:

Start-up and Sensor Warm-up

After the cartridge is installed and the device is powered on, a countdown timer displays while the O2 sensor stabilizes. Gas readings and notifications are suppressed during this warm-up period.

Applies to cartridge-equipped G7, G8, and EXO devices.

Bump Tests, Calibration, and Zeroing

Suppression is applied during bump tests, calibration, and zeroing.

Prevents notifications from triggering due to exposure to test gas or zeroing.

Alerts resume automatically after testing is complete.

Pump Inlet and Mode Transitions (device-dependent)

G7 and G8 apply suppression when entering secondary pump modes to avoid transitional spikes.
