Some cartridge-equipped G7 and G8 devices support secondary gas detection modes used for specific workflows in high-risk environments. These modes alter how gas notifications behave or how the internal pump operates.

On exiting a secondary mode, the device resumes normal gas monitoring, alert behavior, and compliance notifications.

Secondary modes are only supported by G7 and G8 devices. EXO does not support user-selectable secondary gas detection modes.
