When to Perform a Pump Block Test
Run a pump block test whenever there is a risk of restricted
airflow that may interfere with gas sampling, including:
After connecting or replacing tubing.
After installing or replacing inlet filters.
After clearing a Pump Blocked notification.
Before starting a critical sampling operation.
After exposure to cold temperatures below -20°C (-4°F).
