Gas Notification Priority and Suppression Logic
Gas notifications are classified as high-urgency events and take priority over other cartridge notifications. When active, they override non-gas notifications and control light and sound indicators until cleared or acknowledged.
Device behavior includes the following notification logic:
- Lower-priority notifications (e.g., low battery, check-in) may be delayed or hidden while a gas notification is active.
- Suppression logic prevents false notifications during transitions like start-up, sensor warm-up, or calibration.
- Once suppression ends, any reading above the notification threshold immediately activates the notification.
