Cartridge Presence and Fault Detection

When powered on, the device verifies that a valid cartridge is installed and ready for operation. If no cartridge is detected, or if a cartridge fault is identified, a high-urgency notification triggers. Gas sampling does not start.
  • G7/G8: Cartridge check performed automatically during start-up.

  • EXO: Cartridge check performed automatically during setup wizard.

If a cartridge fault is detected, the device may need to be restarted. If the fault persists after restart, the cartridge must be replaced.

Note:

If a cartridge fault prevents start-up, it must be cleared before gas detection can begin.
