Remote Sampling and Pump Operation
Pump-enabled configurations support remote-gas sampling through tubing, allowing users to detect gas concentrations in confined spaces or hard-to-reach environments.
Cartridges configured with an internal pump (e.g., G7 and G8 Pump cartridges or EXO with a 4-inlet pump or gas expansion module) actively draw air to the sensors.
Things to consider:
Sampling from remote locations can create delays compared to passive Diffusion models.
Tubing length, diameter, and bends may affect sample delivery time and accuracy.
Sampling systems with multiple inlets (e.g., EXO) require a two-minute purge cycle that creates switching delays. Single-inlet operation is recommended in high-risk or cold environments.
