Condensation inside the sensor cavity, especially in IR sensors, can interfere with readings until the sensor stabilizes. This is not a permanent fault but may cause temporary delays or erratic values.

Allow the device to stabilize in extreme temperature or humidity conditions before use to avoid false readings.
