A list of error messages that may display if G8 was unable to successfully assign itself during the TagAssign procedure.

If the device assignment is unsuccessful, G8 displays one of the following error messages:

• Unable to read TagAssign tag – Tag read failed.

  

• TagAssign is not configured on this device – The TagAssign setting is disabled for the device configuration.

  

• Device must have network connectivity for TagAssign assignment – No signal

  

• Device must be unassigned before it can be reassigned to another user – G8 is already assigned to a user and remains active until the device is successfully unassigned and then reassigned to a new user.
