Startup Sequence
Automatic actions that follow powering on G8.
After you power on G8, it automatically performs the following actions:

Self-test: G8 checks its lights, sounds, and vibration to confirm that notifications are functioning correctly.

Clean-air prompt (LEL-MPS only): If the clean air prompt is enabled in Blackline Live, G8 prompts you to confirm the device is in clean air before zeroing. If not confirmed within 15 seconds, the device enters a latched alarm state.
Note: This prompt is disabled by default. When disabled, the device does not zero at startup and requires manual zeroing. -
Pump run at startup: By default, G8 briefly runs the pump during startup to confirm operation for any pump cartridge. The pump block test begins automatically during startup and requires user input when prompted. This behavior can be configured in Blackline Live for any pump cartridge, regardless of the sensor type.
