            Essential email reports:</p><ul class="ul"><li class="li"><p class="p"><a class="xref" href="#usage">Usage report</a></p></li><li class="li"><p class="p"><a class="xref" href="#high_gas_events">High gas events report</a></p></li><li class="li"><p class="p"><a class="xref" href="#alerts">Alerts report</a></p></li></ul><p class="p">We are transitioning the email reports to a new format,
            offering a refreshed, consistent design across all three reports.
            The updated reports will start rolling out by September 1, 2025,
            and will take place in phases over several
            weeks.</p><p class="p">As part of this change, the reports are now being sent

            to provide you with a high-level summary and key metrics from the
            report. The new insights are: total usage, average daily use, and
            devices not used insights. The devices used insight is also being
            updated to now compare the number of devices used to the total

            added to provide a more
            comprehensive view of each test, offer deeper insights into device
            performance and testing conditions, and support better diagnostics

G8 Technical User Manual

Low Battery The low-battery notification interval is configurable between 0%-70% by your Blackline Live administrator The low-battery notification is activated when G8 detects that it is operating below the configured low battery threshold. G8 remains in low-battery status until it is charged above the configured threshold.
Lost Connection The lost connection interval (in minutes) is configurable by your Blackline Live administrator. The lost connection notification is activated when G8 fails to connect with Blackline Live for the configured time interval (e.g., five minutes).
Bump Test Due The bump test due notification is activated when: G8 is overdue for a bump test, based on your organization's configured bump test interval. A bump test is attempted but fails. Following the bump test due notification, a message displays in the banner until the device is successfully bump tested. The device remains fully functional.
Bump Test Reminder The bump test reminder notification interval is configurable by your Blackline Live administrator. Your Blackline Live administrator can also mute the bump test reminder notification light, sound, and vibration patterns. The bump test reminder notification is activated when G8 is due for a bump test within the interval (hours or days) as configured in Blackline Live.
Calibration Due The calibration due notification is activated when: G8 is overdue for calibration based on your organization's configured interval. Calibration is attempted but fails. Following the calibration due notification, a message displays in the banner until the device is successfully calibrated. The device remains fully functional.
Calibration Reminder The calibration reminder notification interval is configurable by your Blackline Live administrator. Your Blackline Live administrator can also mute the calibration due notification light, sound, and vibration patterns. The calibration reminder notification is activated when G8 is due for calibration within the interval (hours or days) as configured in Blackline Live.
