Zeroing G8
Steps to manually zero G8.
If G8 is not
reading zero and you know you are in an atmosphere with no gas, G8's baseline
may have shifted, and the sensors may need to be zeroed. If you can calibrate
your device, it is best practice to do so, but you can manually zero your
sensors if you are unable to calibrate.
Note: The baseline reading for oxygen is 20.9. The baseline reading for CO2 is <1200 ppm.
If you see a zero incomplete message on your screen, you may be in an environment with gas levels, or your cartridge may need to be replaced. Contact your organization's safety professional or the Blackline Safety Technical Support team for assistance troubleshooting your device.
