Steps to manually enter a new PTT channel from the PTT options menu.

1. From the Status screen, press the center button to open G8's Main menu.
2. Using the left and right buttons, scroll through the menu, then select PTT options by pressing the center button.
   
   The PTT options menu displays.
3. Using the left and right buttons, scroll through the menu, then select Enter channel # by pressing the center button.
   
4. Press the left and right buttons to select the first digit of your channel, then press the center button to confirm.
   
5. Press the left and right buttons to select the second digit of your channel, then press the center button confirm.
   
6. Select Yes by pressing the right button to confirm and change G8's PTT channel. If you made a mistake, press the center button to select Edit , then change the channel number. Press the left button to cancel the change and return to the PTT options menu.
