The completely downloaded update is automatically installed the next time G7 is powered on. This installation adds 30-60 seconds to the start-up sequence.

When the green light is solid and G7 is connected, it automatically powers down. It then flashes blue and yellow lights on the right side of the screen and the device becomes unresponsive. After 30-60 seconds, G7 powers back up and displays the new firmware version it has downloaded.

Once completed, G7 continues to monitor as usual.
