Checking Device Model, ID, and Firmware
Check three things to ensure you select the correct firmware for your device: Device Model, Device ID, and Current Firmware Version.
Device Model (Depending on Device Type)
G7 and G7 Bridge have multiple model variations. The model information is listed on a sticker found on the back or underside of the device:
Device ID (Also Known as the Unit ID)
You can find the device ID in two places:
In the second column of the device list in the update tool.
On the back of the device (labeled as UNIT ID)
Firmware Version Currently Installed on Your Device
The current
firmware version installed displays in the third column of the device
list.
