Power and Device Detection
Before Updating G7 and G7 Bridge Firmware
Charge your device before upgrading. If your device is not fully charged, plug it in before starting the update.
G7 Bridge Only: If the device powers off while charging, ignore it as the upgrade continues. Some devices are configured to turn off when charging, and this does not affect the update process.
Device Detection Requirements
A device must have its screen on to be detected by the update tool.
If a device is powered on, the screen is on.
If a device is powered off but charging, the screen displays a charging icon and can still be detected.
If a device is powered off and not charging, it cannot be detected by the update tool.
