Attaching G7 Bridge to a Multi-Purpose Mount
You can use the multi-purpose mount to attach G7 Bridge to a non-magnetic surface. The mount is attached using a double-sided adhesive.
Note:
The multi-purpose mount is fabricated from glass-filled nylon. If using industrial adhesive, confirm it is appropriate for both nylon and your mounting surface before attaching the mount.
- Confirm that the surface is flat and clean prior to attaching the mount.
- Remove the backing from the adhesive foam pad, then stick the pad to the bottom of the multi-purpose mount.
- Remove the second adhesive backing, then firmly press the multi-purpose mount to the flat surface. For best results, allow 24 hours for adhesive bond to set.
Alternatively, you can attach the multi-purpose mount to a surface with a polyurethane industrial adhesive, tie wraps, screw fasteners, or hook and loop fasteners. For these optional methods, the multi-purpose mount has two tie-wrap slots and eight screw hole locations.
