PID Sensor Behavior
The Photoionization Detector (PID) sensor detects volatile organic compounds (VOCs) using ultraviolet light to ionize gas molecules.
The PID sensor exhibits the following key behaviors:
The target gas must be selected in Blackline Live before use.
The sensor requires a warm-up period of up to 60 seconds after power-up.
The sensor can overload or trigger a latched notification when exposed to high concentrations of VOCs.
