When powering on a device with an MPS sensor, the user must confirm that the startup occurred in clean air. If this prompt is not acknowledged within 15 seconds, the device enters a latched notification state.

To clear the notification, the user must power cycle the device, and acknowledge the clean-air prompt on restart.
