Replacement Indicators
Blackline cartridges are not serviceable. If a sensor becomes damaged, degraded, or unresponsive, the entire cartridge must be replaced.
Persistent faults, repeated maintenance failures, or unresolved notifications may indicate sensor failure.
- Replace the cartridge if calibration or bump testing fails repeatedly, or if the device displays a high-urgency notification that cannot be cleared by zeroing, calibration, or restart.
- A persistent fault, such as Sensor Error, Sensor Drift, or Sensor Overload, may indicate permanent sensor degradation.
- Zeroing failures or unresolved Zero Offset notifications may indicate baseline shift or environmental damage.
- MPS fault conditions (e.g., failure to confirm clean air at startup) result in a latched notification and require a restart. If the fault persists, replace the cartridge.
- PID sensors exposed to high VOC concentrations may display a Sensor Overload notification. If restarting and zeroing do not resolve the condition, replace the cartridge.
- Always power off the device before replacing the cartridge.
