Sensor Readiness and Stabilization
When powered on, sensors enter a stabilization period during
which gas readings and notifications are suppressed. A countdown
timer appears on the device display until sensors reach operational
readiness.
MPS and IR sensors do not require warm-up and begin sampling immediately.
Electrochemical and PID sensors require stabilization, especially after cold start-up or extreme temperature shifts.
If an MPS sensor is installed, the device prompts for clean-air zero confirmation at start-up. Failure to confirm within 15 seconds results in a latched fault. To clear the fault, power off the device and power on in clean air.
