If your organization uses third-party Geographic Information System (GIS) software to create zones, you can use the Bulk actions page to import the zones simultaneously into Blackline Live. You can upload a KML file up to 10 MB and each organization can have up to 8000 zones.

Bulk zone import will only extract LinearRing and polygon shapes. All other geometric shapes will be rejected.

Zones will automatically be assigned the name of the polygon in the KML file. Each zone must have a name and zone names can be up to 40 characters. If multiple zones in the KML file have the same name, none of the zones will be imported. If you import a zone that has the same name as an existing zone in your organization, the imported zone will overwrite the existing zone.
